Corns & Calluses

Corns & Calluses

Corns and calluses are areas of thickened, hardened skin that develop in response to pressure or friction. They can be extremely painful and affect your ability to walk comfortably.

What to expect

Your podiatrist will carefully remove the corn or callus using specialist instruments, providing immediate pain relief. Advice on footwear and padding will be given to help prevent recurrence.

Who it's for

Anyone experiencing painful hard skin, corns between toes, or calluses on the soles of their feet.

Verrucae & Warts

Verrucae & Warts

Verrucae (plantar warts) are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) and can be stubborn and painful, particularly when located on weight-bearing areas of the foot.

What to expect

We offer a range of effective treatments including cryotherapy (freezing), topical acid treatments, and needling. Your podiatrist will recommend the most appropriate treatment based on the size, location, and duration of your verruca.

Fungal Nail Infections

Fungal Nail Infections

Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) cause nails to become thickened, discoloured, brittle, and sometimes painful. They are common and can be difficult to treat without professional guidance.

What to expect

Your podiatrist will assess the affected nails and confirm the diagnosis. A personalised treatment plan will be created, which may include topical antifungal treatments, nail reduction, and advice on preventing reinfection.

Who it's for

Anyone with thickened, yellowed, or crumbling toenails that may indicate a fungal infection.

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails occur when the edge of the nail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, swelling, and sometimes infection. They can be extremely uncomfortable and may worsen without treatment.

What to expect

Conservative treatment involves carefully removing the offending nail edge and providing advice on nail cutting technique. Where conservative treatment is insufficient, nail surgery may be recommended for a permanent solution.

Who it's for

Patients experiencing pain, redness, or swelling around the toenail, particularly the big toe.

Nail Surgery / Avulsion

Nail Surgery / Avulsion

Nail surgery (partial or total nail avulsion) is a minor surgical procedure that provides a permanent solution for chronic ingrown toenails or severely damaged nails.

What to expect

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, so you will not feel any pain. The offending portion of nail (or the entire nail) is removed, and a chemical is applied to prevent regrowth. The procedure includes full aftercare with dressings and two follow-up appointments.

Who it's for

Patients with recurrent ingrown toenails, severely damaged nails, or those who have not responded to conservative treatment.

Who it's for

Medical Pedicures

A medical pedicure combines clinical foot care with cosmetic treatments, providing both therapeutic and aesthetic benefits. Unlike a standard salon pedicure, it is performed by a qualified podiatrist.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants to combine clinical foot care with a high-quality cosmetic finish, or those who want a safe pedicure with a medical professional.
